It astounded me to find out that even though my blog has been active since the 1st of April, my wife has yet to follow it, nay, she has not even the decency to read it.
And, I suppose, why should she?
She should because this blog business is serious stuff. I might write down clues pertaining to things going on in my life that I, as a male, am not capable of sharing by way of the spoken word. I might share my "feelings" or connect with my inner child! This blog might just be the "holy grail" of marital communication she's been desperately seeking since the day we wed!
In the stillness of the evening she, she often turns to me and asks "What are you thinking?" - but truth be told, she'd know exactly what i was thinking if she'd only read the stupid blog! And as for not talking... what is she thinking?
She's going to read this and I'm going to have to make my own supper and sleep on the couch.
But at least she'll read this.
